Ms. Elyse Emerich

Piano Instructor, Accompanist

Hello! My name is Elyse Emerich and I have been teaching piano for over 15 years. I truly love being an ambassador to music and helping people learn to play the piano. I enjoy teaching students of all ages and ability levels. I think learning to play music is inherently fun, but can be even more fun when learning familiar songs and pieces- which is why I like to include my students' musical preferences in selecting repertoire for study. I also have a passion for helping people learn the fundamentals of music theory, so they can apply them at the piano to create their own music through composition and improvisation.

She also spent five summers instructing the front ensemble at the Oregon Crusaders Drum & Bugle Corps, where she met her husband, Brad.
